William D. Wheelock received his B.A. in History from the University of California, Los Angeles. He received his J.D., cum laude, from the University of San Francisco School of Law, where he served as a senior staff member of the school’s Law Review, and was also a staff member for the inaugural issue of the USF Maritime Law Journal.
Following his graduation from law school, Bill entered law firm practice litigating a wide variety of business, real estate, construction, and employment issues. His experience included work at a large international law firm as well as mid-sized and small regional firms prior to joining Fine, Boggs and Perkins LLP as an associate attorney.
Bill represents clients in matters before arbitrators, courts and government agencies in matters that include claims of wrongful termination, discrimination, harassment and retaliation as well as state and federal wage and hour issues. Bill is admitted to practice before all California courts, as well as the United States District Courts for the Southern, Central, Northern and Eastern Districts of California. He is also admitted to the bar of the United States Ninth Circuit Court of Appeals. In addition to litigation matters, he also is involved in counseling clients regarding compliance with employment laws, drafting compensation agreements and employment policies/handbooks. |
